Dr. Faclier is the current Anaesthetist-in-Chief of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and has held this position since 2001. He also holds the position of Director of Chronic Pain Management Program at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre since 2000.
Dr. Faclier has over 35 years experience in general anesthesia, intensive care and multidisciplinary pain management and has authored numerous medical publications. Dr Faclier is an assistant professor, Department of Anesthesia, University of Toronto , Faculty of Medicine. He was elected to the board of directors of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in 1993. Dr. Faclier received his M.B., Ch.B and FFA(SA) from the University of Cape Town, South Africa and FRCP(C) from the University of Toronto.
